On November 24, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia discussed issues related to the the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The importance of a long-term and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through peaceful negotiations under the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs was stressed.
During the telephone conversation, Ararat Mirzoyan presented the situation that has developed as a result of the aggression of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia. The Armenian Foreign Minister noted the important role of the Armenian-Russian allied relations in the context of efforts aimed at establishing stability in the region.
