Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informs.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia discussed a wide range of issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The importance of a long-term and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs was stressed.

“Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov also discussed the implementation of the trilateral statements from November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021 and November 26, 2021.

Minister Mirzoyan stressed that the statements of the Azerbaijani leadership and threats of the use of force seriously threaten regional stability and security,” the message reads.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia also discussed issues related to the “3+3” format, as well as issues on the regional and international agenda.
