Artsakh’s Foreign Minister positively assesses the UK’s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue

The similar clear position of almost all influential international players, including the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair countries, that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue hasn’t been solved and it should be resolved under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, will definitely contribute to the intensification of the negotiation process in this format. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh David Babayan, referring to the statement of the British Ambassador to Armenia John Gallagher on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

“The more people talk about it and the more influential countries declare it, the better, of course. And it is good that not only the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries, but also other countries are talking about this. Great Britain, as we know, has been involved in Caucasian politics for a long time, and if they think so about the status and future of Artsakh, then this is normal. The more such opinions there are, the better,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh David Babayan commented.
