The meeting of the committees on border demarcation and border security issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan is scheduled for the end of August, the office of RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan informs.
Azerbaijani media reported earlier about the regular meeting of the commissions on border demarcation and border security issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“In response to your request, we inform you that the meeting is scheduled until the end of August in Moscow. A separate agenda of the formed issues has not been decided at the moment,” stated the written response of the Deputy Prime Minister’s office.
There is still no final agreement on the exact date of the meeting.
To remind, on May 23, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision on the establishment of a commission on border security and demarcation of the state border between the Republic of Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to the decision, the chairman of the commission is RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
On May 24, the first meeting between Mher Grigoryan and Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafaev took place at the interstate border of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
