The German government donated a monitor for 100 patients and 4000 pulse oximeters to Armenia

Lena Nanushyan, First Deputy Minister of Health, and Viktor Richter, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, tested the donated pulse oximeters for the first time.

A monitor for 100 patients and 4000 pulse oximeters were donated to Armenia by the German government, with the support of the “EU Civil Protection Mechanism”.

Lena Nanushyan emphasized the importance of such cooperation.

“Although at the moment the epidemic situation caused by Covid in our country is relatively stable, nevertheless, in fall, especially along with the reopening of educational institutions, an increase in the Covid incidence rate is predicted. Such partnerships are critical during pandemics,” she stated.

Ambassador Victor Richter noted that this donation is part of effective cooperation between the two countries in the health sector and will help to face possible challenges.
