Erdogan considers the meeting with Pashinyan possible
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that he may meet Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Prague at the beginning of October, the President of Turkey announced this while giving a speech in the parliament.
“It is possible that we will meet with Pashinyan in Prague,” Erdogan said.

Footage published online showing the brutal executions of captive Armenian troops by Azerbaijani soldiers is undoubtedly authentic, the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Defense said.
“We can’t say any concrete data about the location and time at this moment, relevant authorities are now analyzing the footage. In terms of authenticity, we believe there is no doubt, this is the typical signature of the Azerbaijani armed forces. This signature is known to us and the international community from the undeniable evidence of similar cases that happened in the past as well,” Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan informed.
Armenia demands a clear assessment of the war crimes of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces – RA MFA
The RA MFA issued a statement regarding the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, in which it is stated:
“A number of videos continuously shared by Azerbaijani users on social networks document the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces: brutal killings of Armenian prisoners of war, torture of Armenian servicemen, including women, and desecration of corpses.
The Republic of Armenia demands a clear assessment of the flagrant war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in this and previous periods. We will pursue the raising of the problem in relevant international platforms and courts, and bring the perpetrators and organizers of the above-mentioned crimes to justice, including the application of international sanctions. In this context, a proper international investigation is imperative.
At the same time, the international community is obliged to increase the pressure on Azerbaijan for the immediate repatriation of all Armenian prisoners of war and civilians illegally held in Azerbaijan, forced disappearances, and the discovery of the fate of the missing.”
Mirzoyan met with US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Philip Ricker and discussed the war crimes of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces
On October 2, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in Geneva on a working visit, had a meeting with the US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Senior Advisor on Caucasus Negotiations Philip Reeker, RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
“The Foreign Minister presented the details of Azerbaijan’s recent military aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia and emphasized the importance of taking clear steps by international partners in eliminating its consequences and preventing new aggressions, including the introduction of international mechanisms.
Referring to the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with particular brutality, the videos of which are widely distributed by the Azerbaijani side on social networks, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that the Armenian side will make every effort to bring the culprits to justice.
During the meeting, the interlocutors touched on a number of issues related to regional security and stability, exchanged ideas on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem,” the ministry’s statement said.
The RA Foreign Minister met with the French Co-Chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group, Brice Roquefeuil
On October 2, in Geneva, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with France’s co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group, Brice Roquefeuil, RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
“The interlocutors discussed issues of regional security and stability, referred to the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
The Armenian side emphasized the need for the Azerbaijani armed forces to immediately leave the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, the repatriation of the Armenian prisoners of war, and the unconditional maintenance of the ceasefire regime.
It is necessary to clearly condemn the brutal killings, tortures, and other war crimes of Armenian prisoners of war committed by Azerbaijan by the international community and bring the criminals to justice,” the department’s statement said.
