The Armenian authorities have always suggested that Artsakh should be involved and is involved in all discussions and issues.  After the meeting with the Artsakh delegation, the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, said this in a press conference.

 “We offer to Artsakh what we have always offered: Artsakh should be involved and is involved in all discussions and issues. At the same time, the Republic of Armenia should be maximally involved in these conversations,” said Simonyan.

Responding to the statement of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, when and how they would like to negotiate with Artsakh, Alen Simonyan noted that until now there have been many issues that Azerbaijan has discussed and negotiated with the authorities of Artsakh.

 “At the same time, Azerbaijan is in constant contact with the legal authorities of Artsakh on many issues. There are even cases that the authorities of Artsakh are more informed than we are in terms of information. It is natural that the leadership of the neighboring country should give other wordings, call Stepanakert with an Azerbaijani name, etc. I’m asking you to consider it in that sense. At the same time, let’s remember that the negotiation process is not over, there is no document that we can refer to. Naturally, each side presents its own vision and idea,” Simonyan concluded.
