Russia expects that the upcoming tripartite meeting of the leaders of the Russian Federation, Armenia, and Azerbaijan Vladimir Putin, Nikol Pashinyan, and Ilham Aliyev in Sochi will provide an opportunity to move forward on the path of signing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to RIA Novosti, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko stated.
“There are still many problems. I think all of them will be discussed, including at tomorrow’s meeting in Sochi. We hope that it will somehow allow us to move forward on a number of issues, including the signing of a peace treaty,” Rudenko told reporters.
It should be reminded that tomorrow, October 31st, Prime Minister Pashinyan will leave for the Russian Federation on a working visit, where he will meet with Vladimir Putin. A tripartite meeting of the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan is also planned.
