The Artsakh Ministry of Health reports that because of the blockade by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical institutions under the authority of the Artsakh Ministry of Health.

 13 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in the “Arevik” medical unit.

 At the “Republican Medical Center”, 13 patients are in the intensive care unit, 6 of them are in critical condition. The doctors are doing their best to stabilize the condition of the patients.

Until today, a total of 13 patients, two of them 4 and 2-month-old children, have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan is taking all possible measures to properly overcome the situation created because of the blockade.
