Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, three patients from “Republican Medical Center” CJSC of the Artsakh Ministry of Health: “Cancer of the antral part of the stomach with regional lymph node involvement”, “Left breast cancer” and “Valgus deformity of a pair of knees, condition after hemiepiphysiodesis” “with diagnoses, today, January 27, with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross, they were transferred to various specialized medical centers of RA.

Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Artsakh Ministry of Health.

9 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in the “Arevik” medical unit.

At “Republican Medical Center” CJSC, 16 patients are in the intensive care unit, and 6 of them are in critical condition.

Until today, a total of 49 patients were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
