Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, 7 people with serious diseases of the tumor and cardiovascular system, as well as pathologies requiring emergency surgical interventions, were transferred to RA specialized medical centers from the “Republican Medical Center” of the Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic on February 9, with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

As we learn from the message of the Artsakh Ministry of Health, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in local medical institutions.

 8 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in “Arevik” medical unit.

At “Republican Medical Center” CJSC, 9 patients are in the intensive care unit, 3 of them are in critical condition.

Until today, a total of 83 patients were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
