On February 23, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA Mrs. Christina Quinn. This was reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Defense.

The Minister of Defense congratulated the Ambassador on taking over the mission in the Republic of Armenia and wished for effective cooperation and success.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the development of Armenian-American cooperation in the field of defense and regional security were discussed.

Reference was also made to the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
