"Armenia" alliance mediates that Constitutional Court judge Vahe Grigoryan does not participate in the examination of their application

hetq.am: The "Armenia" alliance has applied to the Constitutional Court with a demand to invalidate the decision of the Central Electoral Commission of June 27, 2021, the official representative of the central headquarters of the alliance Aram Vardevanyan stated about this at the briefing today, adding that they dispute the constitutionality and legality of the decision on the election results, as well as the factual data underlying the decision.

According to him, the Constitutional Court will examine their application in terms of quantitative violations, that is problems on the voting day, as well as in terms of quality, which, according to Vardevanyan, refers to the group of problems arising from May 10. The application submitted to the Constitutional Court consists of 12 points.

Aram Vardevanyan said that they presented a number of evidence of election violations, as well as their analysis of the results of 109 polling stations, which refers to 88 thousand votes, of which 4 thousand had signatures in the lists published at the polling station, as the "Armenia" alliance has registered.

According to Vardevanyan, the "Armenia" alliance has also submitted a letter-motion along with the application on the impossibility of the Constitutional Court judge Vahe Grigoryan's participation in the examination of the application, because according to Aram Vardevanyan, Vahe Grigoryan, as a judicial opponent, has filed a specific case against Robert Kocharyan and Seyran Ohanyan.
