Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.

“Dear Mr. Khachaturyan,

I congratulate you on your election to the post of President of the Republic of Armenia.

You are assuming the post of the President of the Republic at an important time for the future of Armenia, when we are in a difficult period of regional and international challenges.

According to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Republic develops non-party activities and, in exercising his powers, is guided exclusively by national interests.

Your rich biography and experience, high personal qualities inspire confidence that when exercising the powers of the president, you will be exactly like that and will contribute to improving the efficiency and balance of the work of the legislative, executive, judicial branches of government,” the message reads.
