The Acting Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and the Ambassador of France discussed key issues in the field
Hayk Chobanyan, acting Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte in order to expand cooperation with France in the fields of high technologies. As reported by the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, emphasizing the special role of the technological field in the modern world, the acting minister noted that Armenia, based on the excellent scientific traditions of the Soviet Union and the potential of IT companies, holds a leading position in the region, especially in the field of information and engineering technologies. However, given the high speed of technological development and the requirements of the modern economy there is a need for constant updating of the knowledge of qualified specialists. Chobanyan also added that the development of high-tech production is of strategic importance for Armenia.
Nikol Pashinyan receives Ara Toranian
Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Ara Toranian, Co-Chairman of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of regular contacts between representatives of the Armenian government and the Diaspora, which provide an opportunity to exchange views and take note of each other’s positions. The Acting Premier emphasized that the challenges facing Armenia can only be addressed through nationwide consolidation. Nikol Pashinyan added that the most important task in the current situation is the formation of a new national agenda in line with our goals and opportunities. “We must mobilize the pan-Armenian potential to face challenges and advance our national agenda,” the Acting Prime Minister said.
Three bodies were evacuated from the territories under the Azerbaijani control
