About 650 cars of garbage were moved from the area of Yerevan Lake. the second phase of the project will start soon

Large construction should not cause inconvenience to city residents. Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan expressed displeasure with the improper organization of construction sites during a regular working meeting. It was ordered to establish constant control with inspection visits and to ensure that the mandatory conditions of organization and provision of sanitary norms are maintained at the construction sites, informs the Yerevan Municipality.

According to the annual program of the Yerevan Municipality, the cleaning works of Yerevan Lake and Hrazdan Gorge will continue. The second stage of the process will start soon. It should be noted that in the first phase, about 650 cars of garbage were moved from the lake area.

While cleaning Yerevan Lake, a barrier was installed on the Hrazdan River in order to carry out garbage collection measures. It was ordered to increase their number as necessary.

With the annual program, comfortable conditions will be provided for recreation in Abovyan Park. With the complex improvement, the external lighting and irrigation network will be completely modernized, benches and trash cans will be installed, and there will be new landscaping solutions. Works are in progress.

A new building will be built for the Children's and Youth's School of Gymnastics of Olympic Reserve after Albert Azaryan. The community has a free space near the "Hrazdan" stadium, which will be used for this purpose. The design tender has already been held.

"Veolia Water" company cleaned 10 manholes and 87 culverts. The mayor proposed to provide the list of manholes to the heads of administrative districts in order to keep the process under constant control by the community.

The external lighting network of the park named after Arthur Karapetyan and the adjacent playground of the Shengavit administrative district has been updated.

With the project implemented in several stages, a total of 100 new hydrants will be built in Yerevan and 150 more will be repaired. Works have already been completed at 90 addresses.
