On the evening of August 8, near the RA government building, the members of the civil initiative "Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh" held an action in defense of Berdzor, Aghavno, and Sus. Narek Ayvazyan, a member of the initiative, made a statement near the government building.

"Inhabitants of Berdzor, Aghavno, and Sus are being illegally demanded to leave their native homes, with the aim of undermining the status of the Lachin humanitarian corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia. We demand from the governments of Armenia and Artsakh not to allow such interpretations of point 6 of the statement of November 9, which are actually missing from that document, that is the evacuation of residents of Berdzor, Sus, Aghavno from their homes," Narek Ayvazyan stated, calling to stand by the people of Artsakh.

The members of the initiative call not to give in to Azerbaijani intimidation and not to leave the people of Artsakh without political protection, and to speak out about Azerbaijan's anti-human policy, ethnic cleansing, terrorism, and blackmail in all partner countries and in the international press.

The initiative "Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh" plans to carry out actions near the embassies of the Russian Federation, the USA, and France in Armenia.

Earlier it was annocuned that the residents of Aghavno, Nerkin Sus, and Berdzor should be evacuated by August 25.
