The Prime Minister paid tribute to the memory of the Armenians who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the Motherland

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan, the President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan and representatives of the highest authorities of the Republic of Armenia, visited the Yerablur military pantheon on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.

Prime Minister Pashinyan laid flowers on the graves of Commander-in-Chief Vazgen Sargsyan and Andranik Ozanyan and a wreath at the memorial complex commemorating Armenians who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the Motherland.

It should be reminded that since early this morning, a large number of police forces were concentrated in the "Yerablur" military pantheon.  At some point, the red berets began to detain the parents of the fallen servicemen, including women, who came to the Pantheon to prevent Nikol Pashinyan from visiting Yerablur on the occasion of the Independence Day.
