On October 4, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Samantha Power, the manager of the US Agency for International Development (IDA). This was reported by the RA MFA.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Director of USAID exchanged ideas on the prospects of expanding the programs implemented by the Agency in Armenia. The possibilities of further strengthening of cooperation in the field of the fight against corruption were discussed.

The interlocutors also touched on issues of the regional and international agenda.

Ararat Mirzoyan presented to Samantha Power the details of the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan in Geneva. Reference was also made to the elimination of the consequences of the latest Azerbaijani aggression, the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from the sovereign territory of Armenia.
