The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to fulfill its tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation issued a message about this.
Round-the-clock monitoring of the situation at 30 observation points and control of the maintenance of the cease-fire regime is carried out by the Russian peacekeepers.
It is noted that no violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping troops.
“Two convoys of the Republic of Azerbaijan were escorted along the Shushi-Lachin route. Patrolling was carried out in the Martakert region and in the Lachin corridor on two routes.
Engineer-saber teams of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue demining objects and terrain. An area of 0.5 ha was cleared during the day. In order to ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, continuous cooperation with the main headquarters of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia is maintained,” the message states.
