The Artsakh delegation has been in Yerevan for 2-3 days, and there have been meetings with the representatives of the highest authority of RA, Artsakh Foreign Minister Davit Babayan said this during a briefing with journalists.

“Yesterday we met with the Secretary of the Security Council, today with the Speaker of the National Assembly, a meeting with the President of RA is also planned, tomorrow we will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister. We have come here to conduct sincere discussions, not only Armenians but also all Armenians are in a unique situation, today we are faced with ontological challenges, and it is very important to get answers to a number of questions and learn about various processes. Even the most complex issues were discussed in an honest manner, it is important for us to have a clear position on Artsakh,” said Babayan.

Referring to the quadrilateral meeting in Prague and the statement on recognizing mutual territorial integrity between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Babayan said:

“We are not against RA and Azerbaijan improving relations, but we must understand that it is unacceptable for Artsakh and also for all Armenians to recognize Artsakh as a part of Azerbaijan. During these meetings, there were clarifications that no one is going to recognize Artsakh as a part of Azerbaijan.”

On October 9, it became known that the delegation led by the Artsakh president will arrive in Yerevan to discuss the situation in Artsakh and Armenia with the RA authorities.

On October 12, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Arayk Harutyunyan met in Yerevan.

On October 13, Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the RA Council of Ministers, met with the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Nagorno-Karabakh National Assembly Artur Tovmasyan in Yerevan. According to the Security Council report, at the meeting, Armen Grigoryan presented details of the ongoing negotiation process in all directions, then the parties exchanged ideas and presented assessments regarding the security situation created around Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. The National Assembly of Artsakh also released a message about the meeting, noting that the Artsakh delegation emphasized that any attempt to consider Artsakh’s future as part of Azerbaijan is a “red line” for Artsakh, stressing that Artsakh remains committed to the resumption of the negotiation process in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group, with the participation of official Stepanakert.
