The Military Committee of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) held a videoconference session and discussed countering new challenges and threats, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.
A session of the CSTO military committee was held via video conference. The delegations of the main staff of the armed forces of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the joint headquarters and secretariat of the CSTO, took part in it.
In the framework of the meeting, there was an exchange of opinions on the military-political situation in the regions of collective security, measures to counter new challenges and threats, as well as urgent issues of cooperation between the defense departments of the states of the union alliance.
