Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani, expressed hope that the issue of lifting the blockade of the Lachin Corridor will be resolved quickly. Answering the ISNA reporter's question about the blocking of the Lachin Corridor, Nasser Kanaani said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized the peaceful settlement of disputes between Azerbaijan and Armenia."

The representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Tehran is confident that the full implementation of the provisions of the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020, can put an end to the differences between the two countries.

Noting that establishing peace and stability in the region requires avoiding unnecessary tension, Kanaani expressed hope that the issue of unblocking the Lachin Corridor will be quickly resolved through peaceful dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
