No demands have been made to the Armenian government to open the Lachin Corridor - Pambukhchyan |news.am|

There are checkpoints on duty of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh in the corridor of Lachin. Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan said about this today, December 22, in a conversation with journalists after the government session.

"Unfortunately, at the moment, the corridor remains completely closed," he said, adding that the citizens who remained in Goris due to the closure of the road are being properly assisted.

To the question, of what demand was made by Azerbaijan to the government of Armenia in order to open the corridor, Pambukhchyan answered that Azerbaijan did not make any demand to the government of Armenia.

"We have given this process a great international resonance and we will consistently go to the point that Azerbaijan opens the Lachin Corridor and 120 thousand of our compatriots get out of the blockade," the minister emphasized.
