Pashinyan received the representative of the NATO Secretary General - The issue of the Lachine Corridor was also discussed

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of NATO in the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina. The parties discussed issues related to Armenia-NATO cooperation, as well as the processes taking place in the South Caucasus, RA Prime Minister's Office reports.

It is noted that Pashinyan referred to the humanitarian situation created in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the blocking of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan. He stressed that with its provocative step, Azerbaijan once again violates the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020, and emphasized the importance of the international community's attention and appropriate response to what is happening.

"The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of NATO expressed his concern regarding the situation caused by the blocking of the Lachine Corridor and emphasized the importance of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the corridor. Javier Colomina added that NATO is interested in ensuring stability and peace in the region and expresses its support for the efforts made by international partners in this direction.

At the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed other issues of mutual interest," the message reads.
