On February 2, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan visited the training military unit of the Defense Ministry. Walking around the territory of the military unit, Minister Papikyan observed the organization of the educational process and the conduct of courses and exercises defined by the order of the day.

During the tour, the head of the defense department also met with new recruits who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces as part of the winter conscription.

Being interested in their service and mood, Suren Papikyan assured that everything is being done to make the soldiers' service more comfortable and efficient.

The minister also presented some details regarding the reforms implemented in the Ministry of Defense. According to the results of the 2022 academic year, the military unit was recognized as the best educational military unit for its high indicators of combat readiness and exemplary military discipline.
