Francois-Xavier Bellamy, a French member of the European Parliament, and head of the delegation of the "Les Républicains - LR" party in the European Parliament was today at the beginning of the road leading to the Lachine Corridor.

"I arrived in Armenia tonight and I am at the beginning of the road leading to Lachin Corridor. Azerbaijan has blocked this only way to enter Nagorno Karabakh for two months. A few kilometers away from here, one hundred and twenty thousand peaceful Armenians live cut off from the world, deprived of everything. Europe must finally act against this large-scale humanitarian crisis because we have no right to leave the Armenian people alone in the face of the new threat of ethnic cleansing, and because, in fact, the security of our countries is also at stake here," he wrote on  Facebook.

It should be reminded that since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan has closed the Lachin Corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia, as a result of which 120,000 residents of Artsakh, including 30,000 children, are under siege. 1100 civilians, including 270 minors, cannot return to Artsakh from Armenia.

It is not possible to deliver 400 tons of food and medicine from RA to Artsakh every day.

Fan power outages are implemented 3 times a day for 2 hours. There is a food coupon system. Azerbaijan regularly cuts off the gas supply to Artsakh from Armenia.

Artsakh is under siege.
