The President of Artsakh offered the Prosecutor General to assume the duties of the State Minister

The President of Artsakh has suggested that Gurgen Nersisyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic, take over the duties of the State Minister. We learn about this from the press release of the Artsakh president's office.

"I have proposed to Prosecutor General Gurgen Nersisyan to assume the duties of the State Minister. I am glad that he is ready to take that difficult responsibility in this difficult situation. He will issue a statement about the final decision in the near future. I chose Mr. Nersisyan's candidacy, taking into account his professional and human qualities, his professionalism, fairness, principled ness, and patriotism. Due to the nature of the work, many works done by Mr. Nersisyan for the benefit of Artsakh are not mentioned, and very limited people are informed about them, I am sure, one day the public will also be informed about all this, and will be informed about the amount of work done by the prosecutor's office in the last two years under the leadership of Gurgen Nersisyan.

All executive bodies will be under the coordination of the new state minister, except for the power structures and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As in the case of Mr. Vardanyan, Mr. Nersisyan will also receive from me broad powers and freedom for decision-making in his field of coordination, including personnel issues. Naturally, as it is today, important decisions will be made as a result of collegial discussions with the members of the Security Council and the government, ensuring as much as possible the inclusive participation of the public in that process," Arayik Harutyunyan said.

It should be reminded that today Ruben Vardanyan was dismissed from the post of state minister by the decree of the Artsakh president.
