Tert.am Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on the results of the snap parliamentary elections in Armenia, TASS reports.
"The elections have just taken place in Armenia, it is too early to talk about the impact of the results on the situation in Nagorno Karabakh. It is not clear yet how they will affect the formation of political life in the new conditions. Let's wait until the government is formed," Lavrov said, answering the question of how the election results in Armenia will affect the stability of the situation in the region.
"At least we assume that the trilateral agreement that ended the war, as well as the second trilateral agreement, which launched the process of agreeing on special ways to open economic activity and lift the blockade, work and are in the interests of all parties involved," Lavrov added.
