The NA Council session convened by the opposition factions didn't take place
The opposition factions of the National Assembly "Armenia" (Hayastan) and "I have Honor" (Pativ Unem) initiated an extraordinary session of the NA Council to discuss the situation on the border tonight at 20:00, however, it didn't take place.
NA President Alen Simonyan and opposition MPs argued in the corridor around the meeting of the failed council.
"Our opposition partners submitted documents at 4:40 pm asking to convene an urgent session. Unfortunately, due to lack of time and submitted documents, I can't even discuss this issue," Alen Simonyan said adding that the draft and the justifications were not attached to the proposal.
According to Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the two opposition factions will make a joint statement.
