The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, responded to the statement of Seyran Ohanyan, head of the "Armenia" faction, about not holding a session of the Armenia-Artsakh inter-parliamentary commission. To the question of how he will interpret Seyran Ohanyan's statement about not holding a session of the Armenia-Artsakh inter-parliamentary commission since he claims that he wrote a letter to the Speaker of the National Assembly on this issue twice, Alen Simonyan answered: 

"But are they coming to the National Assembly to hold a session of the Armenia-Artsakh inter-parliamentary commission? Are they coming to any event, or are they carrying out work in the National Assembly building?

Seyran Ohanyan's party members met with Artur Tovmasyan, the chairman of the Artsakh National Assembly, and he answered all their questions. I think that Seyran Ohanyan is either lying or simply is not informed. Will all respect, I assume that he is simply not informed, because I know that even during the work of the National Assembly, it is not the case that Seyran Ohanyan's participation and influence are very large in the "Armenia" alliance, and everyone informs him what is happening. Therefore, I call on Mr. Ohanyan to find out from his party members what they discussed with the Speaker of the Artsakh National Assembly, or whether they should come to the Parliament in order to hold an inter-parliamentary meeting.

When they talk about responsibilities, I apologize, but first of all, they should fulfill their responsibilities, and come to the National Assembly," Simonyan said.
