The deputy director of "Surmalu" released, the others arrested in the explosion case detained
3 of the persons arrested in connection with the explosion in the "Surmalu" shopping center have been detained. The petition to arrest one, the deputy director of "Yerevan Canning Factory" CJSC, which operates the "Surmalu" shopping center, was rejected.
Arevik Khachatryan, head of the Public Relations Department of the General Prosecutor's Office, said this in response to Hetq.am's question.
The deputy director, whose name is not disclosed by the law enforcement officers, is charged with violating fire safety rules in the shopping center, which negligently caused death or other serious consequences.
