Political scientist Alexander Kananyan living in Kapan claims there are strong explosions

Political scientist Alexander Kananyan, who lives in the Kapan community of the Syunik region, a few minutes ago detailed in a conversation with Infocom that the Azerbaijani side is delivering heavy blows in the direction of the city. According to Kananyan, the explosions are so powerful that, apparently, they are drone strikes.

"Although I am not a specialist, the experience of the last Artsakh war allows us to assume so," he said.

"Since what is happening now, at least according to the assessment of this moment, falls under the description of full-fledged war operations, therefore, no matter how unreliable and rejectable the official sources, including the media, these few sentences that I say are just the description of what has been seen from the window of a person who is unaware of the situation, and for the rest, let's wait for reports from official sources."

He detailed that in the last half an hour, loud explosions were constantly heard.

"Since I live in the suburbs of Kapan, on the slopes of Khustup, it is noticeable from here that at least one target has already been hit by more than ten strikes and very strong ones," said Kananyan, noting that despite the thunder regularly hits from further places as well, these are explosions.

At the time of our conversation, as Kananyan mentioned, the sounds of explosions could be heard.

"Right now, there was another strong blow, I can see it from the window of my house," he said.
