Around 192 residential houses damaged in Armenia from latest Azerbaijani attack

According to preliminary reports, 192 residential houses in Armenia’s Gegharkunik, Syunik, and Vayots Dzor provinces have been damaged as a result of the latest Azerbaijani attack, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan told a press conference in Armenpress.

He stated that 60 of these 192 houses have been totally damaged.

“Residential houses, auxiliary structures, livestock buildings, agricultural property, administrative buildings, guest houses, etc, have been damaged. Vehicles, as well as ambulances, were also damaged. We had power outages in some places but they were quickly restored. At the moment we have a problem with electricity in the Nerkin Shorzha section. The supply of electricity and communication in that section has not been restored yet for understandable reasons, but it will be restored as soon as possible”, he said.

There are no other infrastructure programs such as road collapse, and disruptions in war supply. He stated that there are different problems that are being solved very quickly.

The deputy minister said that the leadership follows the situation in the three provinces, and works are coordinated on a daily regime. In case of an opportunity, the full inventory will be carried out very quickly.

“Professional commissions will be set up which will thoroughly register the damages on the spot. Our citizens can stay calm in this respect. Even if there is a gap, that work will be properly carried out by the staff of the communities”, Vache Terteryan said.

He assured that every citizen, who has been affected by the Azerbaijani military operations, will be under the spotlight of the government.
