At the meeting of the CSTO Joint Security Council in Yerevan, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will talk about the organization's priority issues, which will be on the agenda in 2022-23, during the period of Belarus' presidency.

 Taking into account the fact that the presidency will be transferred to Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko will announce the priority directions on which it will be necessary to focus joint efforts," the president's press service said today.

The session of the CSTO Joint Security Council will be convened on November 23 in the capital of Armenia.  The meeting will take place with a narrow and extended composition.

The leaders will discuss the urgent issues of international and regional security, summarize the activities of the CSTO in the mid-term phase and will address the opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
