Bayramov discussed with Borel the issue of the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations
Azeri Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with EU Council High Commissioner for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell within the framework of the 29th session of the OSCE Foreign Ministers' Council in Poland, discussing the bilateral agenda and the issue of the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
As reported in the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Bayramov and Borrell discussed issues related to the implementation of agreements in the energy sector, exchanged opinions on efforts to achieve progress in the process of regulating Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the role of the EU in that process.
Bayramov said at the meeting that Armenia allegedly obstructs the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan, avoids fulfilling the obligations reached by the leaders of the two countries, and tries to form a "deceptive opinion" regarding the normalization process.
