The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the consequences of the aggression towards the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia to the Ambassador of Nicaragua

On December 5, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan was handed a copy of his credentials by the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Republic of Armenia Alba Azucena Torres Mej (residence: Moscow).

Congratulating on the appointment, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs wished the ambassador productive and effective work. The Ambassador of Nicaragua thanked for the reception and good wishes and noted that he will work to promote the development of relations between the two countries.

Within the framework of the meeting, the interlocutors referred to the possibilities of development of the bilateral agenda and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The parties also exchanged ideas on issues of the regional and international agenda.

Paruyr Hovhannisyan presented to the Nicaraguan ambassador the consequences of the large-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan on the sovereign territory of Armenia on September 13, as well as the positions of the Armenian side regarding Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and the process of settlement of Armenian-Turkish relations.
