Today, the RA National Security Service issued an official message, informing that on December 1, the Armenian side transferred to the Azerbaijani side the bones of 10 victims of the first Karabakh war and 2 maps, where possible locations of 4 bodies are indicated.

"So, since November 9, 2020, the Armenian side has handed over to the Azerbaijani side the bones of 140 victims of the first Karabakh war and 5 maps," it was stated in the message distributed by the NSS.

168.am inquired from Zara Amatuni, who is in charge of the communication programs of the Armenian office of the International Committee of the Red Cross, whether the Armenian side made the transfer through the Red Cross, or whether the process took place without an intermediary.

According to Zara Amatuni, the process took place without the participation of the Red Cross.

"I can say that the parties worked with each other in this direction, we were not immediately involved in this particular operation. At the moment, we do not have any confirmation regarding our participation," said Zara Amatuni.
