At least 17,000 people were interrogated as part of the criminal cases related to the 44-day war - Chairman of the Investigative Committee |news.am|

At least 17,000 people were interrogated within the framework of 1,600 criminal proceedings initiated in connection with the 44-day war, Argishti Kyaramyan, the chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, announced this on the air of the Public Television of Armenia.

 "It testifies to the unprecedented and great scope of the examination," he said.

 Kyaramyan noted that the committee conditionally divided the criminal cases related to the war into two parts, depending on whether they are related to officers or privates.  The criminal cases against the officers are investigated in the department of particularly important cases of the main military investigative department and are connected according to directions.
