Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan's tours to all military units and military units of the Defense Ministry have started. They will be continuous.

The purpose of the unexpected visits is to get acquainted with the process of organization of the service, the discipline, and morale of the servicemen, the social and living conditions, the furnishing of the front line, and the progress of the construction works.

During the visits, the Minister of Defense will also have direct conversations with the soldiers, listening to their concerns and problems.

In case of an indifferent attitude towards the service, non-statutory relations, insufficient level of discipline, and other defects, those responsible will be severely punished.

Incidents resulting from an improper attitude towards the service, negligence, and indiscipline should be excluded entirely.

2023 should be a year of editing mistakes, hard work, and mending the backbone of the army.

On February 1, with a similar visit, the Minister of Defense visited the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense, following the organization of the service defined by the order of the day.

Minister Papikyan also visited the shooting range and observed the course of practical training. After that, a sincere conversation took place with the servicemen, during which the Minister of Defense was interested in the process of organizing the service, the existing problems, the issues related to the equipment of the personnel, and the official weapons.

Answering the questions of interest to the soldiers, the head of the defense department presented details on the course of the reforms launched in the Armed Forces.

At the end of the visit, the Minister of Defense gave appropriate instructions to the heads of the responsible units.
