RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan received the delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to RA, Alfonso Di Rizzo.

Ara Khzmalyan, deputy minister of the ministry, also participated in the meeting.

Ambassador Alfonso Di Rizzo informed Zhanna Andreasyan that the delegation led by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Italy Gennaro Sangiuliano will visit Armenia in the near future.

The parties discussed various issues regarding the purpose and agenda of the Italian Minister of Culture's visit. Highlighting the joint programs and exchanges of experience in the fields of education, science, culture, sports, and youth, Zhanna Andreasyan, noted that they create new opportunities to expand effective cooperation.

During the meeting, the joint programs to be implemented in the field of culture, their formats, as well as the schedule were especially discussed and specified. The Ambassador of Italy to Armenia, in turn, noted that cooperation between the two countries begins with cultural relations, and Armenia's cooperation with Italy is more active in the cultural sphere.
