Armenia is the most interested in the opening of communications in the region, and since everyone understands that Armenia needs these roads the most, they are trying to increase the price of opening these roads for Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during the NA-government question-and-answer session on February 8.
"Most of us want those roads to be opened, and others are resisting. We are the most interested because we are the ones who have been in the blockade for 30 years, no one else needs those roads more, neither Azerbaijan nor Turkey. And, because everyone understands that we need those roads the most, they are trying to increase the price of opening those roads for us. We say no, let's implement exactly what we wrote in the tripartite statement of November 9. And what we did not write in the tripartite statement of November 9, do not attribute to the tripartite statement," he mentioned.
