The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to fulfill its tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation issued a message about this.

According to the source, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation in 30 observation posts and monitoring the ceasefire.

It is noted that the command of the Russian peacekeepers continues the negotiation process with the Armenian and Azeri sides regarding the resumption of the unhindered movement of automobile transport along the Stepanakert-Goris road (Lachin Corridor - ed.).

"Two convoys with humanitarian cargo were escorted along the Goris-Stepanakert route.

Patrolling was carried out along three routes in Martakert, Martuni, and Shushi regions.

Engineer-saber teams of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue demining objects and terrain. An area of 0.6 ha was cleared during the day.

In order to ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and prevent possible incidents, continuous cooperation with the main headquarters of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia is maintained," the message states.
