Armenia sent 30 tons of aid to Syria affected by the earthquake

The Ministry of Emergency Situations organized the transfer of more than 30 tons of aid to the earthquake-affected Syrian Arab Republic on the instructions of the RA Prime Minister.

As reported by the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, the humanitarian cargo included food, medicine, and medical equipment. It will be sent to Syria from Yerevan "Erebuni" airport.

"The process was monitored by Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Pambukhchyan and the management staff of the structure.

Cargo transportation from Yerevan to Aleppo was carried out by "IL-76" aircraft. The rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs supported the organizational work," the message says.
