Sargis Khandanyan, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly today, during the parliamentary briefings, referred to the issue of the blockade of the Lachin Corridor, mentioning the tripartite statement of November 9.

"As for the outcome of unblocking and blocking the Lachin Corridor, what will be the outcome, the outcome is written in black and white in the statement of November 9, is that the Lachin Corridor should operate without interruption, and the control of the Lachin Corridor should be established by Russian peacekeeping forces. and security will be provided by Azerbaijan," Khandanyan noted.

Addressing the question of whether the Armenian side is ready for the meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia at the initiative of Moscow, Khandanyan said:

"Whether the Foreign Minister of Armenia will participate or not depends on the current situation. however, there is no problem with any mediator participating in the meetings, including Russian mediation."

It should be reminded that a few days ago Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said that in order to stabilize the situation in the region, the idea of holding a tripartite meeting of the heads of the foreign affairs departments of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, Sergey Lavrov, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov is being discussed.
