Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical institutions operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.

About 640 citizens were deprived of the opportunity to solve their health problems through surgery.

4 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units of the children’s hospital.

12 adult patients are in the intensive care unit, 4 of them are in critical condition.

Already 249 children have been born under the blockade.

Until today, 97 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross to receive appropriate treatment.
