Aliyev stated that at first sight "there is progress in Armenia's position, but not enough"

Aliyev stated that at first glance, "there is progress in Armenia's position, but not enough." The President of Azerbaijan said this in an interview with local TV channels after a tripartite meeting with RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken within the framework of the Munich Security Forum.

"The meeting went well, I think it was constructive. Many issues were discussed, including the necessary conditions for signing a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan," Azertag quoted Aliyev as saying.

He noted that he once again stated his position.

"The main thing is that this peace agreement is drawn up on the basis of international norms and principles. It is unacceptable to have any provision regarding Karabakh. Three days ago, we received new answers to our proposals from Armenia. Now we are working on them."
