The former co-chair countries of the OSCE Minsk Group still have some leverage on the situation - Aliyev on the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement |tert.am|

There are several platforms for discussing the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, said the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Interfax.ru writes about this.

"One of them is the so-called Brussels format. During the meeting with the President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel, we reaffirmed our commitment to the process. Today, during the tripartite meeting organized by Secretary Blinken, we also discussed the Brussels process in a tripartite format. And I think there is a general understanding that this is only a tripartite format, including the EU, Azerbaijan, and Armenia," Aliyev said during the Munich Security Conference.

Meanwhile, regarding the format of the OSCE Minsk Group, he stated that the Minsk Group has already "retired and does not really exist" (quotes by Tert.am), maybe it exists only on paper, the former co-chairs of the Minsk Group, who during 28 years of work "did not they did not produce any results" (quotes: Tert.am), still have some leverage on the situation. Therefore, we have a platform organized by the USA, Russia, and now the European Union."
