Due to the blocking by Azerbaijan of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, 8 people with tumor diseases and pathology requiring emergency surgical interventions from the "Republican Medical Center" CJSC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia were transferred today, February 21, with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the "Red Cross" to a specialized hospital in Armenia medical centers, Artsakh Ministry of Health reports.

5 medical patients, who were referred to Armenia for treatment within the framework of the state order, returned to Artsakh with their companions.

Planned surgeries continue to be suspended in the medical facilities operating under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

5 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units in the "Arevik" medical unit.

At "Republican Medical Center" CJSC, 7 patients are in the intensive care unit, and 3 of them are in critical condition.

Until today, a total of 113 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and accompaniment of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
