Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said today that official Yerevan rejected Baku's proposal to place checkpoints on the Azerbaijani-Armenian conventional border.
"Yerevan did not consider it acceptable and did not give an explanation in this regard. Armenia avoids negotiations with Azerbaijan," Bayramov said.
According to him, this refusal proves that Yerevan does not intend to fulfill the obligations assumed by the tripartite statement of November 10, 2020.
According to the head of Azerbaijan's foreign ministry, "over the past two years, the Armenian side has repeatedly violated the agreements reached regarding the use of Lachin corridor."
